What is therapy/counseling?

Therapy/counseling is a process where we will meet to resolve problematic behaviors, beliefs, feelings, and/or somatic responses that are affecting you and your life in a negative way.

How long does therapy take?

There is no easy answer to this question. Every individual and clinical situation is unique. As a result, treatment times can vary dramatically, although certain conditions do typically require more time to resolve. After our initial meeting, we can discuss an appropriate treatment plan.

What can I expect at my first counseling session?

At our first session, I want to learn your story, and you are free to share with me as much or as little as you would like. We will work together to help understand the challenges you are facing, and how these challenges can be effectively resolved.

What is your fee? 

We will discuss my standard fee structure at, or in advance of, our first appointment. Please know that I take into consideration my clients’ financial, insurance, and clinical situations. We will work together to find an appropriate payment plan and fee structure.
